Two of my friends and I stayed at Eldon Condos during the Presidential Inauguration. We had a great time. The room was beautifully appointed and staff was extremely professional. Ryan, the General Manager, made check in and out a breeze and was always interested in our comfort .Bobby, at the front desk, was always so helpful. As some other reviews have indicated, the location is just on the outskirts of area under redevelopment but building is secure and conveniently located one block from the Convention Center Metro Stop as well as restaurants and places of interest. The building was recently completely renovated and so everything has a wonderful loft style. If they continue to provide guests with the same treat they provided during the inauguration and maintain the facilities, Eldon Condos is a secret gem.

“Eldon Was Great!”
I recently stayed at the Eldon and had a very nice, comfortable stay. The rooms are very large and well appointed. The kitchens are very well equipped as well.
The living rooms have flat panel televisions, the bathrooms have wonderful shower jetted showers as well.
The location is perfect if you are traveling on business, the convention center is less than 1 block away and down town with all the restaurants and the Verizon center are only 4 blocks away. The buildings on the block are run down, but that is in no way the Eldon's fault. I have traveled to most all of the major cities on the east coast for business and you find that pretty much everywhere.
The service staff is all very genuine and friendly. They went out of there way to ensure my comfort during my stay.
The art and lighting in the building is very nice and classy. I walked through all the floors just to see the nice paintings on each floor

We went to washington for the Inauguration, and we could not have picked a better place. The location was just fabulous, and we were within walking distance of most of the events and parties we went to. The condo was clean and very well maintained. We liked the cocktail lounge on the main floor which was well used on Sunday as liquor stores are closed. The staff was very attentive and just plain nice. I am happy to have had such a nice place to stay at during the inaugural activities. It was most excellent!

“Great Location”
Hubby & I stayed at the Eldon for 4 nights recently, he was there to attend a conference for 2 days at the convention center, I was there for the experience! This was our first trip to DC so we had no idea what to expect, but we had a fantastic time. We chose the Eldon because of its location to the convention center and the national mall & also free internet that we couldn't pass up. We were initially looking at other hotels in the area, but their rates were higher and their rooms didn't have a kitchen. This property has everything and with an amazing location right in the center of downtown where all the action is.
